This website features resources for use by nurses in their efforts against COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2. These resources aim to support nurses from diverse backgrounds, including low- and middle-income countries, and are included in multiple languages when possible. As COVID-19 information is rapidly changing, new resources will continue to be added to the site. Scholarly literature related to COVID-19 is available here: LitCovid. The LitCovid database provides a current, and growing, list of all peer-reviewed scientific literature related to COVID-19. The curated list can be filtered by topic, and searched by terms such as “nurs*” to more quickly find articles of interest.

  • Clinical Questions about COVID-19: Questions and Answers - Transmission

    This FAQ website provides information about how COVID-19 is transmitted, including information about immunity and re-infection.

  • COVID-19 Fact Sheets

    These fact sheets, available for free download, provide general information about COVID-19, as well as details specific to certain groups (ex: pregnant women). The fact sheets are available in more than 30 languages, including Creole, Farsi, Malay, Somali, and Ukrainian, among others.

  • Emerging respiratory viruses, including COVID-19: methods for detection, prevention, response and control

    This free, three-hour training provides an overview of emerging respiratory viruses, including coronaviruses. In addition to English, this course is available in many languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Farsi, Hindi, Swahili, Amharic, Hausa, and others. Participants must have an account on OpenWHO.

  • Country & Technical Guidance

    WHO repository of technical guidance and scientific briefs related to COVID-19. Topics include: clinical care, infection prevention and control, risk communication and community engagement, and vulnerable populations, and fragile settings, among others.

  • CDC Resources in Languages other than English

    CDC.gov materials translated into other languages. The information is free and available for sharing and downloading. Additional resources will be added periodically.

  • Coronavirus (COVID-19): Evidence Collection

    This website includes summaries of relevant research, available in English with links to translations in other languages. Topics include health and other outcomes, the impact of the COVID-19 response on other conditions, and issues to consider for the recovery period after COVID-19.

  • COVID-19 myths

    Discusses four common myths related to COVID-19, including who is at risk and the severity of the disease. It is written by an infectious disease doctor at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

  • WHO Online Training - English

    This website links to free online clinical trainings, offered by the WHO, related to COVID-19. The trainings cover a broad range of topics, including standard precautions, basic emergency care, and others. The trainings linked on this site are in English.
