This website features resources for use by nurses in their efforts against COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2. These resources aim to support nurses from diverse backgrounds, including low- and middle-income countries, and are included in multiple languages when possible. As COVID-19 information is rapidly changing, new resources will continue to be added to the site. Scholarly literature related to COVID-19 is available here: LitCovid. The LitCovid database provides a current, and growing, list of all peer-reviewed scientific literature related to COVID-19. The curated list can be filtered by topic, and searched by terms such as “nurs*” to more quickly find articles of interest.

In partnership with Assist International and Project ECHO, we are offering a tele-education series that provides remote training and a platform for the discussion and sharing of best practices for healthcare providers caring for COVID patients in low-resource settings. The sessions are open to all and are recorded. -

This website presents WHO’s technical guidance regarding how to prevent health systems becoming overwhelmed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The guidance includes specific actions that countries can take at various levels (local, regional, national) to ensure that provision of all essential health care can continue unabated. -
Open-source ventilator designed for use in low- and middle-income countries
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a team at the University of Cambridge has designed an open source ventilator in partnership with local clinicians, engineers, and manufacturers across Africa. The ventilator addresses the specific needs for treating COVID-19 patients and is a fully functioning system for use after the pandemic. -

This five-part series provides one review training about the coronavirus, and an additional four individual trainings related to nursing care for patients on mechanical ventilation. These trainings are freely available. -

This website provides information and recommendations regarding testing, both viral and antibody, for SARS-CoV-2. It discusses considerations for testing based on whether or not an individual is symptomatic, as well as whether or not an individual has had a known exposure to SARS-CoV-2. -
